How to Convert Photos to Black and White

Nature photos looks great in colour, but if you like nature photos in B&W than here is a trick to do so. Many landscape shots are mostly green (depending on the scenery). After converting your image into monochrome via the Channel Mixer and boosting the contrast in Photoshop, an important step is vignetting. To do this, create a new layer, fill it with white and apply heavy vignetting using “Filter | Lens correction”. Merge both layers using the ‘Multiply’ mode. You can adjust the intensity of the vignette with the help of the opacity slider.
