How to Add-Remove Default Desktop Icons

There are few icons which you should have on your Windows 7 desktop, in order to quickly access your files, folders, settings and programs installed in your computer. 
At the time of  Windows 7 installation on your computer, only Recycle Bin icon is the default icon which is available on desktop. In order to add other default and important icons on the desktop, follow these steps:
1. Right-Click any blank space on the desktop and select Personalize 

2. On the top left side of the window, click Change Desktop Icons link.
3. On this window, you can select / de-select the icons which you want to have it on your desktop. I suggest to select all the options and click OK.
These default icons makes Life easy for you. If you don’t want any of these icons, then simply uncheck the ones which are not required.
